Layton has developed a little temper. He will sometimes try to hit me or Matt whenever we tell him no. He likes to tell us NO all the time! He also enjoys throwing his toys. After time out, when he comes to say that he's sorry, he sticks his bottom lip out sooooooooo far, something that he has done since he was a baby.
He can count to 5.
Knows most of the basic shapes and colors.
Loves for us to sing to him, and he likes to make up his own songs and sing for us.
Still LOVES playing with trains, and watching shows about trains.
"Up" and "The Jungle Book" are some of his favorite movies.
Likes to give kisses and hugs.
He says ,"I chase you!" and waits for someone to chase him.
If a dog barks or a cow moos, it scares him and he repeats over and over, "Cows nice" or "Dogs nice" - trying to convince himself that they are all nice and will not hurt him.
Can't say his L's. So, if you ask him his name he'll tell you it's Ayton.
He says, "It's, it's, it's" before naming something.
He likes to take baths, but HATES to have his hair washed.
Climbs on everything!
He's been sleeping in a big boy bed for two months now.
And he's the size of a lot of four year olds - can you say Big and Tall Men's Shop?
I'm not sure when we are going to start potty training. I keep saying that I want to wait until we are in a more permanent place, but I don't know when that will be. Layton has been doing so amazingly well considering the number of times we've moved him this past year! He's pretty impressive.
Still no word on a job yet. Hopefully soon.
